Mobile developers had their first chance to learn details of the radically redesigned Windows Phone 7 mobile platform at Microsoft’s MIX10 conference this week. They’ve got a lot think about, and they’re thinking hard.
InfoWorld – Microsoft revealed this week at its Mix10 conference for Microsoft-oriented Web developers that its forthcoming Windows Phone 7 mobile OS will not include a clipboard capability for copy-and-paste operations — at least not in the first version.
PC World – Suddenly this week, Research In Motion began looking vulnerable. Still the top smartphone maker for U.S. customers, the BlackBerry company was stung when a new study revealed that 39 percent of its users would just as soon have an iPhone.

Facebook ruled the Web last week just squeaking past Google to become the most popular online destination among United States users. For the week ending March 13, Facebook claimed 7.07 percent of U.S. Internet visits, while Google was right behind the social network with 7.03 percent, according to metrics firm Experian Hitwise.
